We deliver first aid courses to students of all key-stages, as well as First Aid At Work and Paediatric First Aid courses to teachers, nursery staff and those working with children and young adults. Our trainers are not only fully qualified and experienced in the world of first aid; they are also fully qualified school teachers with a wealth of experience and qualifications in education and youth-work. This enables them to deliver courses that fulfil the needs of those working throughout education, in childcare environments and youth groups, delivering the subject matter in a relevant, practical and engaging fashion.
We are also able to deliver bespoke practical training courses and awareness presentations on anaphylaxis, diabetes, epilepsy, asthma and other medical conditions.

First Aid Medical Services provides school medics and full medical room cover to schools & colleges. Our qualified medics have significant experience in providing appropriate emergency first aid & medical care, mental health first aid and pastoral support. Our medics can facilitate the administration of lifesaving treatment & medication where appropriate to both students & staff. We may also be able to assist with the administration of certain over-the-counter and prescribed medication, where appropriate parental authorisation has been granted in line with school policy (subject to our terms & conditions).

Our medics, all of whom hold enhanced DBS checks, have a wealth of experience of working with young people within educational settings as well as managing medical emergencies.

Covering infant and child CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), treatment for burns, bleeding, choking and drowning, parents are shown the immediate treatment needed to preserve a baby or child’s life until professional medical assistance arrives. They are also taught how to recognise serious illnesses such as meningitis, and are introduced to the appropriate equipment that should be kept in their home first aid kit.
A full demonstration of a defibrillator (AED) is included, and all learners will have the opportunity to practise their new skills on both baby and child manikins
Our teachers have a wealth of experience and qualifications in working with babies and children. This enables us to deliver a course that fulfils the needs and concerns of new and expectant parents, in a clear and relaxed manner.
For future reassurance, all participants receive a full colour A4 adult & paediatric first aid manual (R.R.P. £6.99).
